What this is
The Ministries Free Academy is a free, ad-free, account-based educational platform. The curriculum is based on Common Core State Standards (CCSS), Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), the NCSS C3 Framework, and GED Testing Service content outlines. Diplomas issued here are records of completed work and are not accredited credentials.
Who can register
Only adults age 13 or older can register an account. If you are registering on behalf of a child, you must be the child's parent or legal guardian. Children do not register their own accounts.
What you agree to
- Provide accurate information when you register (you don't need to use your real name, but if you do, it should be accurate).
- Don't try to break, exploit, or attack the platform.
- Don't impersonate someone else.
- Don't use the platform to harm a child.
- Supervise any child learner you create a profile for.
The curriculum
The lesson content is the work of the project and the public-domain or openly-licensed sources it draws from. You are welcome to use it freely for your own learning or with the learners on your account. You may not republish the content for commercial gain.
Diplomas and credentials
A diploma issued by the Ministries Free Academy is a record that the named learner completed the listed coursework on this platform. It is not an accredited credential and does not, by itself, constitute a high-school diploma, a GED certificate, or any other recognized educational credential. It is a record of work done.
No guarantees
We try hard to keep the lessons accurate, current, and aligned to recognized standards. We make no warranty that any specific learner will achieve any specific outcome. We make no warranty that the platform will be available without interruption. We provide the service as-is.
Account deletion and data
You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. Deletion is permanent and immediate. See the Privacy Policy for what's collected and how it's handled.
